Carrie Underwood to appear on Randy Travis duets album

Mar 29, 2011

Carrie Underwood will appear on a forthcoming Randy Travis duets album that celebrates his 25th anniversary of Travis' country-music career. Anniversary Celebration, out June 7, also will feature duets with the Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, Don Henley, Alan Jackson, Jamey Johnson, George Jones, Kris Kristofferson, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson and Brad Paisley.

Carrie, who will also appear on a forthcoming Tony Bennett duets album, will sing Travis' 1989 chart-topper Is It Still Over? with him.

Carrie had a hit in 2009 with a remake of Travis' I Told You So. The two performed the song together on American Idol and released a duet version of the song at that time.

The album will contain both new material and remakes of Travis' hits.
