LOS ANGELES - Lindsay Lohan is planning a "low key" party in Los Angeles to celebrate the expected end of her house arrest today and her 25th birthday on Saturday, her mom says.

"She's staying in Los Angeles and planning a quiet birthday dinner," Dina Lohan told the Daily News.

"It will be very low key with family and close friends. And then she plans to return to her community service right away on Monday," she said.

Dina said reports that the Long Island-raised actress planned to join ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson and fellow actress Chloe Sevigny at a Hamptons bash were wrong.

"Hopefully she'll get back to New York soon to celebrate with her grandmother, who's 85 and doesn't really like to fly. But there's no party in the Hamptons," Dina said.

COURT IN THE ACT! THE MANY FACES OF LINDSAY LOHAN

Lohan, 24, started house arrest at her posh Venice, Calif, townhouse May 26 after admitting she took a diamond necklace from a jewelry store.

The judge sentenced her to 480 hours of community service and 120 days in jail, but Lohan scored house arrest because she was a non-violent offender and the jail is overcrowded.

Lohan, still on probation for her 2007 DUIs, spent her home detention cooking, reading scripts and hosting a rooftop party that got her into trouble after she failed a booze test.
