Once again a free man after being arrested earlier in the morning (April 16), Nicolas Cage has been bailed out of jail in New Orleans, Louisiana.
According to TMZ, the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" actor has a fellow famous person to thank for his lockup release - as bond was posted by none other than Duane "Dog" Chapman.
The "Dog the Bounty Hunter" star is said to have put up the required $11,000 bond after Cage was picked up in the Big Easy on charges of domestic violence and disturbing the peace stemming from an altercation with his wife, Alice Kim.
Dog's wife, Beth Chapman, tweeted about her husband's efforts in freeing Nicolas, as she wrote, "My guy just walked out of the jail damn new Orleans 8 hours holy cow that's a lot of time to Process one guy."
