Swedish cinema icons Greta Garbo and Ingmar Bergman are to become the new faces of the country's currency with their images adorning an upcoming run of banknotes.
The actress and legendary director are among a number of high profile Swedes selected for the honour. Singer Birgit Nilsson and Pippi Longstocking creator Astrid Lindgren are also on the list of names.
The new krona bills will come into circulation in Sweden between 2014 and 2015.
