If there is anyone who knows a thing or two about criticism from peers and the industry, it's James Franco.
He's dealt with gay rumors, slack for his hosting abilities, accusations of being full-time, fully-committed stoner and two years ago, when he wanted to drop out of the spotlight to be go back to school, he was ridiculed for that! What's a guy to do with all that heavy? Why not ask the President of these United States!
In a new interview with GQ, James revealed that around the time he was heading back to school, he had the honor of meeting the Barack Obama and asked him that very same question - how does he handle all the criticism. His answer, James explained:
"?He said, 'Humor, basically'. And that?s how you get through these situations."
Couldn't agree more! The Prez has the right idea!
Take a note, everyone! Learn to laugh at yourself a bit! Lighten up! Smile! These are all GOOD things!
