Spidey is single! Andrew Garfield is back on the market

Hollywood's next "It" boy is back on the market.

"The Social Network" star Andrew Garfield has split from his girlfriend, "Raising Hope" actress Shannon Woodward, according to Us Weekly.

The couple, who began dating in 2008, reportedly started to grow apart as Garfield "got deeper into filming ?The Amazing Spider-Man.' "

"He literally never saw her," a source told the mag.

While the two haven't spoken to each other in weeks, Woodward, 26, has reportedly been telling people that they are simply "on a break."

Garfield, 27, has kept his personal life fairly private, but touched upon the difficulties of relationships last fall.

"I remember the first time I broke up with someone. It was the greatest pain ever," he told CinemaBlend.com. "It made me never want to love again. We all know that feeling. So you do everything you can to distract yourself."

Garfield will have plenty of distractions coming his way as he continues work playing the iconic superhero in the "Spider-Man" franchise's 2012 reboot.
