Cher Lloyd says she lacks Cheryl Cole's support

Cher Lloyd was labelled Cheryl Cole's 'mini me' during her time on The X Factor

Cher Lloyd and Cheryl Cole formed a close bond during the 17-year-old's time on The X Factor, but now Cher says her ex-mentor has gone off the radar.

Cheryl's currently in the running for a job with Simon Cowell on the new US version of the talent show, and has been putting all her efforts into nabbing the role.

'Cheryl hasn't been in touch at all,' Cher's revealed, reports the Daily Star..

'She is more interested in becoming famous in the States.

'I've been left high and dry. I thought we were mates.'�

Cher's currently touring the UK with the other X Factor contestants while Cheryl, 27, is working to promote herself in America.

A spokesman for Cheryl said last night: 'The judges do not continue to mentor the contestants after the show.

'They all have their own management teams who look after them.'
