In the newlywed's first public outing since returning from their Seychelles honeymoon, Kate, who wore a cream frock, and William, who donned a top hat and traditional tailcoat, joined Kate's parents and Princesses Beatrice (who toned down her hat this time) and Eugenie for the big show.
While even the family's support couldn't bring Carlton House home with a win, however, (he came in third), that wasn't the only um, horsing around the royals got into this weekend.
Prince William hopped on horseback in a red Irish Guards tunic and blue sash right outside of Buckingham Palace to prep for Queen Elizabeth's 85th birthday celebration with a full dress rehearsal.
Although the Queen turned the big 8-5 in April, the public party event, known as "Trooping the Colour," is scheduled for June 11 in London.
